Convert Markdown is a free markdown converter that turns markdown into formatted rich text. Paste your markdown or drop in .md files, pick one of six document styles, then copy the result anywhere or export it as a multi-page PDF, a native Word .docx, a standalone HTML file or a brand-new Google Doc. Everything runs in your browser: no accounts, no upload, no server-side storage.

Connecting Google or GitHub is optional. If you connect Google, Convert Markdown requests the narrow drive.file permission and uses it for exactly two things: to create the Google Docs and Drive files you explicitly ask it to create, and to read only the files you pick in the Google file dialog. It cannot browse your Drive, and it stores nothing on any server. If you sign in with GitHub, the app can read and write only the repositories you select during installation. Paste your markdown, choose a style and click "Google Docs". After a one-time Google sign-in the app creates a new, fully formatted document in your Drive. You can also click "Copy" and paste straight into an existing Doc.
Click "Word" to download a native .docx with real heading styles, tables, lists and syntax-highlighted code. It opens in Microsoft Word, Pages, LibreOffice and Google Docs.
Click "PDF" and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog. The output is a real multi-page PDF with selectable text. Page size, margins and page numbers are configurable from the arrow next to the PDF button.
No. Conversion happens locally in your browser. Files you open never leave your device, and your workspace is saved only in your own browser storage.
